As you guessed, I’m not in US but I definitely get the mountain of emails issue. I took three weeks in March and it took almost as long to catch up when I got back. Giving it up for free seems like an extreme way to mitigate that risk though.
I don’t know, I’m from a soccer-obsessed country, and the relegation aspect has, to me, been a negative. The risks are too big. My local team dropped out of the EPL (after a long run) and the club has spiraled downward ever since.
Care may be a strong word, but I’m interested why you (or anyone) would waive vacation, that I assume (because I’m on a roll here) you took time to at least discuss, if not actually negotiate.
Really? Why the hell would you negotiate that (or have it negotiated for you), and then just not bother?
Maybe the owners should raise this next time they negotiate a CBA? Bad teams practice more in the offseason is not a terrible way to increase parity and on field product quality. Of course, the teams would have to give something up in return.
Because the players and owners negotiated and agreed to it. You can’t just say “I don’t care” and do it anyway. I assume you happily waive your vacation days at work?
Nothing guarantees a Super Bowl victory like starting offseason practices seven days early.
26 game and no offseason? So a bye week every second week? I wouldn’t be in favour but it seems a little too kind to the labour for a Trump EO.
At the moment the ball is played, the shooter is, at worst, level with the passer.
What exactly is his point? If we agree, for arguments sake, that climate change is a natural phenomenon, he doesn’t maintain that it’s not happening just that it isn’t caused by us. What does he want the person who receives his card to do after reading it? Expose the conspiracy? Go buy a monster truck for the morning…
Just did 5 seconds of research, the wife was apparently part of the gang who tortured the ex. I literally don’t know how to process this whole thing.
Now that is a lady who likes being married to a wealthy pro-footballer... or who likes not being tortured, murdered, and fed to dogs.
Imagine if an also-ran managed to outfox all those giants.
I feel like like if teams played It’s Not Unusual more often after TDs, we’d finally get the celebration every fan wants and deserves.
That does sound very Snyder-y
I hope he sticks to his guns and refuses to even discuss a deal with Washington. A healthy franchise QB as a completely unrestricted free agent, the bidding will be insane.
I bought the Archer C7 router from TP-link and it’s been great. Rock solid connectivity, good speed, and no range issues in my two bedroom apartment despite less than ideal placement. And it looks like Amazon has it on sale for $75!

I’ve seen this in a few places but it’s just not true. Mallet went for a seventh round pick, Hoyer was cut, so was O’Connell. Basically, Matt Cassel is the only one who could fit into this category and even he was a trade for a second rounder (KC also got Mike Vrabel). I still think Cassel could have been decent with…
Yes. The second replay pretty clearly shows the attacker shoves the GK. I’m shocked the ref didn’t call it at the time considering how keepers are generally protected. It really seems like you’re reaching on this.
