Also technology. There’s almost no cars available 2015 or older with Carplay, even in cars newer than that navigation systems are out of date and hard to use, things are getting so much more advanced and so quickly there’s something new every year and depending on the model even a year-old car can just feel old.

I feel even more so about any performance-oriented vehicle. Like a used WRX, a Civic Si, or a GTI. I don’t trust the previous owner to not have driven it really hard, tuned it beyond limits, or done stupid shit - let me do that!
