Well he still died.
Well he still died.
A-
Ming-Na does whatever she wants.
Meh, it's still pretty damn mediocre. The case of the week was utterly stupid. We can vat grow a hamburger today but we can't vat-grow human skin 35 years into the future? And even if you needed to for whatever reason abduct people to harvest their skin for use in sex bots (that's… quite the sentence), skin is…
Urban's character is presented to us as so factory standard that I suspect that HE is the real robot. And freshly rolled off of the assembly line, no less.
Can we replace Urban with Anna Torv and pretend that it never left?
Karl Urban is just so awful here as "John Kennex" that I wish that the character was played by a woman. Perhaps Maria Bello, who has already demonstrated her ability to play a gritty seen-it-all detective (RIP US Prime Suspect :().
It actually looks like robot Gina Carano, and I'm totally down for that.
They just dock it from your paycheck, I'm guessing.
Plus, most cops have an off duty weapon that's a personal, not city issued, gun. I doubt that one is subject to the controls that on duty shootings are.
Can we keep Caity Lotz, please? She's the best. The show really would be losing something if it wrote her out (probably to give Katie Cassidy more screentime, ugh).
This is true. Personally I was hoping for more spy fiction with a quasi "Gotham Central" vibe and less NCIS but between casting news (everyone's a photogenic twentysomething!) and early trailers that got shot down in a hurry.
This was the case absolutely never. As no point in time was the marketing for Agents of SHIELD ever suggestive of being about superheroes. The premise of the show (team of SHIELD agents aka vanilla humans have adventures) has been clear from the start.
Well, she's a Lance, for starters. Names are important to some people. Hell, there's a contingent who wants to see Laurel shoehorned into the Black Canary role at all costs despite Sara already embodying pretty much everything that Black Canary needs to be.
So…. Tommy?
Eh, I thought Sara's actress was pretty good, lips notwithstanding. And I'm fond of Felicity but I never thought that EBR was as great as people were saying. Mostly because I could never figure out if her stumbling over practically every single line reading was an issue with the character or with the actress.
Actually, she was only introduced last episode. Sin's infectious likability is all the fault of Bex Taylor Klaus. And by "fault" I mean "damn what a casting coup for a CW show).
Man, I think I'm in love with Caity Lotz. Can we keep her? I really don't want to see Sara, who comes to the table with tons of backstory and more than the requiite skills, killed off so that weepy Laurel can take her place. How would Laurel ever manage to fill those shoes?
She's really only a female Reese if you boil Reese down to the sole qualities of "Badass" (which includes pretty much everyone but Finch) and "Snarky" (which is just everyone). She's kind of more like the anti-Reese, in that while Reese (in an admittedly cliched fashion) lost someone that he cared about and is…
Half of Tumblr are shipping Root and Shaw. I think the other half are just hoping for one giant orgy.
