I left my in-law’s story on the original thread but I know it got buried in the comments/the greys—this one probably will too, but I haven’t actually ever told the story before and here and now seems as good a time as any. Here goes!

I have several very real stories to contribute to this thread- and have been waiting all year to do so! They’re all similar in nature, but deal with very different sets of people.
