It was only on 2.3.x, Android 3.x and 4.x devices I've worked with all come without FB or it is possible to uninstall it.
I rooted my Gingerbread phone just so I could uninstall Facebook (it was baked into the OS).
People already take drugs on a regular basis to feel better. Why not selling them in a proper inhalator?

That's what I was thinking, single pass AutoCAD rendering with generic water and freeware stock background models (boats, trees...)

We work with many portable devices and yes, it is lighter and, therefore, more portable. Sure it does not fit into you jeans pocket, but if you wear a jacket it might.
I agree, but I doubt I will ever feel more comfortable raising my hand 14 inches above the desk every time I want to interact when I can let it rest on a mouse...

If PC makers start to build Linux desktops with Steam built in (assuming Valve manages to get a decent Linux port portfolio) then, of course MS might bite its finger over the gaming crowd.
I tried it a bit and quite did not like it. Maybe I should try it some more. But then again, it's hard to switch after more than 20 years of desktop use.
My main issues with the cloud are bandwidth caps and missing information if I have to be offline for whatever reason.
