Agreed. So far, iirc, Cal hasn't killed anyone that didn't "need killing" in his worldview. It'd be a pretty big step for him to killing dozens or hundreds of innocents for no reason other than to annoy Coulson.

Being catatonic for an indefinite period of time would also qualify as being inhibited. I guess we'll find out the official story at some point.

On the other hand, we just got through meeting Cal's Wild Bunch of living SHIELD containees, so I'm not sure if Cal is implying they are dead.
