The Cosmic Silverback has many brothers.

@staindgrey: DK mode. The only reason I remember is because this kid in my class had a really big head and we called him DK. Kids can be so cruel.

@The5thElephant: I see your point but I don't think the authors are going to recreate this nor do I think that it would be wise for them to do so. A new team working on it, especially one who has proven themselves to be skeptical, would be the best approach to finding the truth.

@The5thElephant: You can criticize but not disprove without recreating the experiment. I believe the burden of proof to land on the critics. If you are going to claim something is false why should someone else have to prove you right?

@The5thElephant: "Are they supposed to travel to Mono lake, take their own samples, and repeat the entire experiment with their own funds and equipment?"

I dislike being told to be scared. Present the facts and I'll decide if my pants need wetting.

@MaxPoint: Stone is usually porous but as long as you only put them in whiskey you shouldn't have any adulterants clinging to the stones.

@blash: I think it has something to do with the high specific heat of water. Water can absorb a lot of heat without actually getting hotter. Also temperature remains constant during phase changes, for example solid to liquid or ice to water.

@sam4sb: I find your lack of faith disturbing.

@coodgenducta: I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be charged by the nature of their data but by their amount of data usage.

@Alkalinejoe: So a minor could never purchase a console because they cannot legally enter into a contract?

@E rac: "You don't have to say 'I agree' for it to be legally binding." lol...just lol

@AmphetamineCrown: The point I was making is that I can understand Comcast, Verizon, and Time Warner entering into this agreement of equal traffic passing between their networks but why should a company that uses the internet as a medium be forced to enter into this agreement. ISPs sell internet access so allowing

@AmphetamineCrown: I don't consider Netflix a network. Should Youtube pay Comcast too?

@Panzer23: My question is what does this have to do with Comcast at all? If many of Comcast's users decide to stream Netflix isn't that what they pay for internet for? What I mean is, Comcast should be worrying about how good their customers connection is, not what it's connecting to.
