I really like that they’re using the Electra and Wildcat names for these cars. What I’m not excited about is seeing the production versions, which will most likely be anodyne 2- and 3-row crossovers that are barely distinguishable from the other anodyne 2- and 3- row crossovers from every other manufacturer.

A salvage titled Blackwood in southern California gives me all sorts of stupid ideas. A Google image search for “prerunner Blackwood” comes up empty. This could become the first of its kind. Since it’s an F150 under there, all the bits are readily available for the transformation.

Honestly. This is exactly what I would expect to get picked up in at La Guardia for a stay at a Trump Hotel.

Ford Maverick Hybrid seems perfect for this job. Sure they are hard to come by right now but if you look hard enough they are out there and some dealers aren’t marking them up with crazy “market adjustments”.

I flinched when I saw the come-back of the MC without the characteristic sexy lines, FWD & unibody aside.  It wasn’t a Cimarron level mistake but it was pretty offensive.
