I have a Prius as a second car and I think it’s a pretty fun car. They are light (~3000lbs) and the underlying platform is decent. The GR Corolla is on the same platform as the current Prius. The previous gen was a platform mate with the tC.
Holy crap! I never knew the Ford 2.3 OHC could be modded very much! Our ‘78 Mustang made me think the engine would always be a dog when my ‘83 Mercury Lynx with a factory performance package felt faster!

When I was a kid me and Dad would go to the local dirt track and watch various classes of cars. One class was of smaller cars all using those Lima engines. They would beat the shit of those things and they always seemed to hold up pretty well. Impressive to me at the time.
Any performance you could get from the extra turbo has been nullified by the weight of barn timber let alone your centre of gravity. Terrible idea and should have kept the original interior. Also looks a disaster to try and clean
