How is “existing” not #1?

OK, I just went outside and talked to my neighbors to ask how their mourning is going- they’re all good. No one cares.

What are mourners doing on Lifehacker dot com when they should be tearing their clothes and gnashing their teeth?

That’s the entire point of the article; the ludicrousness of all of it. No one in 2022 is mourning the death of a Queen they never met, has never really worked a day in her life, never gone hungry, never paid a dime in tax, and had absolutely NO idea who you are but requires you to ‘pledge allegiance’.

The fact that royal families exist in modern times is fucking dumb.

At least cash back cards use real money and not made-up points that change at any time and don’t have a definite monetary value.
