Taking into account that the director is not even recognising Fanning’s character as trans, why are people still thinking this is an important movie for trans youth/people? Do we really need more stories about supposedly “trans” themes produced by people with no understanding of what trans means?
There is a million comments about World War history and shit but I am just disappointed that some kind of heterosexual male mafia convinced them to include a million men in this movie instead of just focusing on women and their whips and legs, which is obiously a much more satisfying subject than boring soldiers.
