Why isn’t that mentioned in this post?
I thought the women’s march was so safe n basic.
This has nothing to do with donald’s manufacturing???????? This is Ivanka’s stuff.
Her shoes are good. She sucks. There are better things to drag her on.
They say they are doing it based on sales performance.
Why avoid nordstrom?
I mean this is exactly the “gotcha” reaction I don’t want to have. It failed, we don’t like her, we don’t like her dad. Lets not have shit to do with it. But it’s not a zany ‘gotcha’ moment, it’s respectable people having better sense.
And you know this how?
fuck off with that religious shit when we’re already pointing out how misogynistic it is that you punish a guy you don’t like by financially punishing his daughter.
and you think this is a sign that is happening?
It doesn’t seem like much of a victory if they say they’re doing it for sales performance reasons.
Bad taste and boring are different things. When things sell in massive numbers and make lots of money, it might not be your taste, but I don’t think you can be surprised by the way this works.
Most recently she went to thai rehab which is significantly cheaper than rehabs in the states.
It got torn down or turned into some other kind of building, I can’t remember which.
Do you wonder if maybe you’re wrong about what people find interesting? This article has almost 400 comments, S&S gave her a $500k advance for her book, clearly people find her interesting.
She does want to get better. Many people who are not recovered want recovery. I would say most if not all do.
“That’s the only perspective on women’s addiction that most readers seem to find acceptable.”
I think a lot of people say “glamorizing” when they really just mean “talking about it without being recovered”. She wishes she was recovered, it’s hard. It’s healthy for people to talk and hear from people in all places on the recovery spectrum. It can’t just be radio silence or fully recovered.
just out of curiosity, why do you think books like this can get a $500k advance if they’re so boring?
