Yeah, when I call it a MOBA-type deal I’m not trying to be disparaging. I just use it as a game mode descriptor. Small teams, bases, creeps, objective based victory are what I call a MOBA. The game does look pretty cool.

Doesn’t need to be isometric to be a MOBA.

Being able to play splitscreen co-op makes multiplayer so much more accessible, especially with the cost of current-gen consoles. Framerate has always taken a hit in splitscreen, but it was nice to at least have the option. Your friend who knows nothing about Halo isn’t going to buy an unfortunately-named, expensive…

Heck, frickin MARIO KART 8 does that. Any more than 2 players in a local game and the framerate drops from 60 to 30. Sounds like a poor excuse to drop the feature. If they at least keep it for MP then that’d be fine.

The SP part of Halo is still a very huge part of it and doesn’t need Coop at all. But, I am very disappointed that I couldn’t just play with my friend in the same room.
