Those people feel that way about the drag they see on television.

It’s rude as hell to drag some (presumable) stranger’s financial situation out into the open—making what are almost certainly assumptions. If Faye Dunaway is in a vulnerable position, name-checking her vulnerability, for the sheer purpose of making an example out of her misfortune, is disrespectful and unkind.

She also expressed her feelings to him the next day. He heard her out and apologized. I see no reason to doubt the sincerity of his apology. His statement on the matter affirms that he took her words to heart.

We have actually reached a point where people are playing Devil’s advocate for the Church of Scientology.

Everyone on that shoot should have been paid Hollywood time-and-a-half for their trouble. If they crunched numbers and said “Hey Ridley, that’s going to cost us $7 million and we can’t pay that” then this movie should be sitting on a shelf with the Louis C.K. one and all the others. Some projects don’t get saved and

Del Toro won his first Best Director Golden Globe on his first nomination and he’s acting like Susan Lucci at the Daytime Emmys. 25 years since what?

Just because Matt Lauer is off the air and out of the building doesn’t mean they’re done paying him—I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re required to buy him out of the time left on his contract, or some portion of it.

As a Madonna stan, I dread the day she dies and I have to watch every shit-talker on the Internet recall what a huge fan of her music they were and how “Borderline” changed their adolescence and what an important (but complicated, of course!) cultural figure she was.

Okay—I watched the trailer. Looks delicious. Can’t wait.

Definitely a new angle on the #metoo story.
