If KoA was an MMO, it would be the worst WoW clone ever made.

KoA combat is a simple cut and paste of God of War. It's not a step in any direction, it's apeing.

Everything about Amalur screams "PLEASE CASUAL GAMERS LIKE ME". I think this article nails it. KoA does not "respect" the player. Everything is glowing lights, and hints and arrows. The world conveniently doesn't exist until the player shows up, then it treats the player like a 7 year old.

That's Kingdom of Amalur. It bats you over the head with bright cartoony colors, but the game has zero heft to it. It's a cheap trick to try and snare WoW fans.

What you're missing is of course that many of the shows that "would have been cancelled on any other channel" could have been much bigger hits on "Syfy" had they not bungled the scheduling and marketing of those shows.

I'll take "generic" any day as long as the artwork is quality. Which game is better to look at
