Yes, because liking a burger joint automatically means I work there? Silly Wabbit

Can someone please explain to me why bleaching your hair blonde is *still* so damn popular? Just go with your natural color, 99/100 it will look way better.

This is McDonalds eaters 'Try-harding' to do what In&Out already does.

Those zelda prices - because of the hardware bundle and extras most likely.

Absolutely not, I am not one of those "RPGs is a game where you 'play a role in a story'". I am 100% against that definition. Since you "play as Mario" in SMB, and that ain't no RPG. yet Paper Mario is an RPG. Why? Gameplay mechanics of course.

The Withcer - not on consoles, released many y ears ago

This concept of RPGs are a game where you can influence story simply doens't fit with the vast majority of RPGs released. While an argument about "what defines an RPG" is not at all what I wanted to start, gameplay mechanics are just as important, if not more so for many people in what defines an RPG.

Yeah, I've played a lot of Skyrim and most of the time I feel like I'm just killing time in that game, doing quests to get them done, mindlessly and, often joylessly going through the motions.

I actually find grinding in MMOs to be vastly superior to single player games. At least in MMOs you grind with friends.

"projects are divided into tasks, milestones and resources meant to create a critical path toward project completion" -

"worth collecting" is debatabale. One thing that is not debatable, is the actual monetary value of games, used/collected is way down from what it used to be. It's also a product of the consumers. People just don't want to buy old/classic games anymore. The average gamer paying $80 for a sealed FF7 is ancient

Indeed, many games I enjoy depend on the DLC on my PS3.

Sup off topic PC gaming rant!

Did I say the game had to be made by a certain developer? I simply joked on ME2 and DA2 not being RPGs.

So far my count is 1, the Witcher 2 (and with the admission that it's an action heavy game)

Thank you for bringing up Kill.Switch. People forget this was the game that turned every 3rd person shooter into a Cover based game. It never gets credit for that innovation, although that innovation sadly killed 3rd person shooters for me. The SOCOM series is an example of something that got ruined by this

I played Chrono Trigger for the first time well past it's release date, into the PS2 era. It blew me away, even with the terrible PSONE loading screens.

To the people who think JRPGs are dead, what about WRPGs?

JRPG plots and characters are no more or less cliche than WRPGs

WRPGs are just as dead as JRPGs. The Mass Effect series ceased to be RPG with ME2. Dragon Age 2? Barely an RPG. Skyrim? More action game than RPG.
