I took it more as it was a bullshit thing that ought not have any worth compared to the lives lost. In real life, yes perhaps she should have done different, however, this is a movie, not real, and I like the symbolism and casting off of this ending. Very much.

It is not at all uncommon for people to defend the predator. They simply never experienced him like that and can’t relate to that image of their friend. I was subjected to very much the same defense of a boyfriend that beat me...None of our friends were willing to believe the guy they knew had hurt me.

Weirdly, I learned that a Shirley Temple with vodka was a “Dirty Shirley” because I asked a bartender. Shirley Temple with vodka is a pretty safe way to order it, I think. Although it does sound seriously lame.

No! Weeds is about a privileged white American woman. Trailer Park Boys is an original Canadian (the first 7 seasons) series and the differences will amaze you. Not to mention that it is so much funnier. Don’t waste your time on watching Weeds again!
