Sounds like the CrossFit Mothership and its law firm know this lawsuit is going nowhere — but CrossFit want can righteously point out whenever this study is cited that they sued the publishers. Plus they can put the fear into other publishers who might not feel like taking them on.

Thanks for shedding light, just seemed that research would have better protections than journalism but similar penalties for falsification or plagiarism. I am a blunt instrument, you are a scalpel.

My favorite bit about it is that the published article says that Crossfit works. If the researchers don't explain why the cohort shrank, they wouldn't be doing their jobs.
