I hate to do this, but congrats on NCsoft on being the first company to discover that “all the praise and none of the responsibility” is a viable business strategy.

No doubt, that would have been great... Still had a blast with it though.
PvP and Soulslikes.
Yeh I’m with you. Now I have been *educated* what it is, do I think it should be changed? Absolutely, especially considering the other parts of this game it all adds up to something not great.
Fully agree that the shift from premier JRPG maker to moody boi/girl (Looking at you Tomb Raider) Action RPG maker has seen the company deviate from the formula that made everything they touched a hit.

Not really related to the games but, I do wonder one thing, though: why aren’t there ANY Miles Morales in the Spider Society? Movie Miles is the only one currently known to be created through multiverse shenanigans. Comic-1610 and Insomniac definitely weren’t.
She clearly has had so much fun with this. I hope she keeps her energy and love for this, I appreciate it so much.
I feel bad for Iman Vellani. She’s a good Ms Marvel but doesn’t seem to be catching on cause Disneys execution of that characters plots are... Lacking...
You’re the first person I’ve seen say “this was always going to be a failure” who isn’t slinging dog-whistles for various forms of bigotry, so thank you.
I’ll keep saying it until I’m blue in the face: The Marvels was ALWAYS going to be a failure, irrespective of its quality.
Captain Marvel is a bad film, full stop. Yes, it made a billion dollars, but a massive part of that was women viewers, who otherwise didn’t give a shit about Marvel or the MCU, coming out in droves…
And after the complete misses that were Love & Thunder, Eternals, Secret Invasion, Moon Knight (my god I tried my best to pretend I enjoyed that), She-Hulk (when are we going to admit that that shit just was not funny, like, at all?)
Except that this one didn’t have bad writing. It was a good, fun, funny movie.
Saw it yesterday with Jr Bear - he’s 10 and had no qualms about a super hero movie starring women. I will say I thought it was perfectly fine. There were some quirky edits - like I recall a specific one where the camera cut to a direct headshot of Brie Larson while she said like 3 words then cut elsewhere. It was…
Nobody posted the obvious gif? ... huh. Yeah, okay, I don’t mind doing it.
Anyone with beef is going to get so much pissier when they find out that this was literally Chris Claremont’s original intent for Nightcrawler’s origin.
Your mother is your father ....
I suppose I’ll have to go read it, but I’m confused. And I’ve followed X-Men books for at least 35 to 40 years. I’m entirely down with Raven and Irene being Kurt’s biological parents. That’s awesome.
