I think every gaming press website should run an article once a week with the headline “Everyone agrees not to buy Switch successor unless it has backwards compatibility” or something similar. Gotta light that fire under their ass!!!
To me the second piece is the more important one. Having a deep library that justifies paying a monthly subscription cost instead of getting it for a couple series. I remember getting Netflix when it was the only game in town and thinking I could watch for months and not repeat myself. Or when HBOMax finally levelled…
It seems to me the draw of a subscription to any of these streaming services is twofold: the buzzy new, original shows/movies (each of the streamers has at least a few), and the back catalog of older TV shows/movies that will sustain subscribers between seasons of the new stuff.
By depleting the second part of that…
“Anyway, in gay news, Laura Dern fell.”
literally the funniest part. as a queer person it really does a solid job satirizing with a lot of heart.
There is a “hole” lotta them.
“I’m Q!” lol
“Both his Suicide Squad movies at WBD were losers (I didn’t even bother to watch the second one)“
He only had one. The second one, which was one of the few bright spots in the DCEU, and it led to a fantastic HBO show.
probably the best comedy on tv in a long time. i hope they get renewed because its clear they haven’t come anywhere near running out of steam yet. was sad to see south side go, let’s keep this one rocking.
This season has been uneven in my opinion, but the show still gives me bigger laughs than anything else on TV right now. Shuli saying “your album was so bad I created the insurrection” just about killed me.
The “never preorder” argument being so black-and-white is exactly why a lot of people ignore it - it’s not that simple. There are plenty of reasons it might be worth preordering, it just has to be done with eyes open, aware of a company’s track record and the risks involved with the game type (like always online or…
It’s true. The ladder reset is the whole point.
I mean, this work environment actively destroys people’s lives, and we do lose a few sometimes due to the stress of it all. There are plenty of anecdotes about failed marriages, missing out on kids events, not having kids, etc from the video game industry due to crunch. I’m sure it applies here too.
Oh but she was interesting last season. And I love her costumes. They just need to give her more to do. Maybe some more school drama that Charlotte could join in.
🚨🚨🚨 BREAKING: The news coming out of Russia that Yevgeny Prigozhin’s Wagner PMC is waging battle against Putin’s military forces is absolutely INSANE. Developments are happening faster than they can be reported.
It’s almost like the guys in charge don’t give a shit about great art or even straightforward entertainment.
It says a lot about our fucked up tax laws that it is cheaper for companies to make a show like this or Snowpiercer or Batwoman and never release it than it is to just release it. Especially when we are in the middle of a writers strike and the pool of new content has to be drying up.
I take it you’re new to capitalism?
No art is worth the cost of humans lives and this is extremely disappointing to hear.
