Technically, that is the case. Corporate in general have become more anti-worker/creative labor since the pandemic’s peak. The rise of AI and their rush to utilize it is of no surprise. I mean, Hollywood always devalued their writers, but they wanted to up the ante and just replace them altogether just to save a dime.

Exactly, This shit is Godzilla vs. Ghidorah. Disney is Godzilla, a giant monster that has destroyed a lot of things but also has done some nice things that don’t make up for the rampant destruction of Tokyo. Desantis is Ghidorah an even worse monster that wants to destroy everything.

True, but many folks, this could be their first game on a new system, forgetting fallen order exists. So for you and I, we may remember all of the cool force talents he could do cos of fallen order, but for many, they have no idea he could do the stuff he does in the game

I don’t think it’s a scam, so much as a feeling of necessity to start the game “fresh” and/or not intimidate new players.

Xbox needs another “Halo”. The had it back in the previous gens, (Halo, Gears), but Xbox One distinctly didn’t have that game that took over all the gaming circles. This gen doesn’t have they either, yet.

I agree, we hear a lot about representation but gay men have not really been represented at all. Sure there have been side characters and background characters which are gay men or you could make a multi-choice character gay, but for gay women there is considerably more “Main characters” who are exclusively gay.

Male Shepard is *allowed* to be gay in Mass Effect 3. Same with all of the Dragon Age protagonists and ME: Andromeda’s, as well as female Shepard (to some extent) in the earlier ME games.

Thats a good point. There are many where you ‘can’ be gay but I don’t think its ever been an established part of a main male character for AAA games. I suppose companies are too afraid when that much money is involved; at least so far.
