I was fortunate enough to see this before the pandemic hit in 2020. For a jukebox musical, I really enjoyed it and thought the story was pretty strong (especially compared with other jukebox musicals).

For me as a comic reader and fan of the “Archie Legion” era from start to finish, LoSH is kind of like the original Marvel Ultimate universe. When you reboot it, you can start off and easily make the story small and accessible to new readers...
I hope the GA jury agrees with you. I really, truly do.
I adore Porter and everything I’ve ever seen him in! Good on him for staying classy by not taking the clickbait/celebrity media bait and escalating the Harry Styles comments the way they probably hoped he would. He apologized for making it personal and took the conversation back to the specific issue that concerned…
I’m a lifelong comic book fan, and yet Eternals is a huge blind spot in my Big 2 superhero knowledge. I’ve seen the books on the shelves, but nothing about them ever interested me. I have doubts whether the movie can make me change my mind.
I actually really enjoyed the main campaign of the game. The story was solid, and the gameplay more engaging than I expected it to be based on the early videos that we all saw. As my introduction to the new Ms. Marvel, it ended up being a really enjoyable experience, and I really fell in love with her character (and…
I love Levar Burton; I love the work he has done (both on screen and with his charitable work); I love his enthusiasm and passion for the hosting opportunity...
It’s for the best. The combination of past harassment allegations at the Price is Right, the podcast comments, and the simple fact that he was the current (and still will be, as of now at least) EP of Jeopardy just left a bad taste all around.
I absolutely think she’ll turn on them at some point when it’s financially (and narratively) advantageous to do so... and then she’ll probably have a last second change of heart - probably because of her growing affection towards Omega - feel guilty about it, and then help to save them from the mess she’s made.
I’m personally just surprised how none of my friends seem to play this. Like me, they played Avengers, but rolled out pretty quickly once they finished the campaign.
I know it’s stuck in a whole rights quagmire, but I’d love to see a No One Lives Forever remake.
By the way, why didn’t the Handmaid’s just taser Lydia, Chuck her out and drive off in the van!
I also would love if RDJ voiced her suit’s AI.
I’m finally on the “royal” part of Persona 5 Royal after 120 hours, so I’ll be focusing on that. This WILL be the first Persona game I’ve finished, dammit!
Same. While I recognized, even as a little kid, that neither Pac-Man nor E.T. for the Atari 2600 were what I’d envisioned in my head, I still played the hell out of both games and enjoyed them as much as I could (although when Ms. Pac-Man finally came out on the 2600, that was clearly superior, and I never looked…
My language was a lot more colorful, but it conveyed the same idea ;)
I was hoping it would be a sequel where we see that the trickster God pulled off his greatest trick by faking his death at Thanos’ hand. Now he’s back/reborn on Earth or wherever, staying out of the main MCU’s way, and causing mischief from episode to episode as he tries to continue redeeming himself.
I’m kind of with you there. I actively disliked both Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 more than I did Thor: Dark World
Unpopular opinion: I actually really liked Burton’s Sweeney Todd. It managed to be humorous, dark and, once the murders started, uncomfortably gruesome. I thought it was dark humor done well.
Some people think the quality gap between stage and screen for The Producers is pretty wide. Not me, personally.
