Finally got to watch the episode last night, and I thought it was great overall. That said, gotta respectfully disagree with you here:

I mentioned this to my husband recently, one of the things I love about this show in particular, is the fact that it never (almost never?) lets characters get away with their bad behavior without some sort of reckoning, even if it was just some absurd throwaway comment for a laugh or lyric in a song. It might get a

Welcome to the CEG family! We’ve been waiting for you :)

I read somewhere, probably over a year ago, that McKenna and Bloom had a four-season plan for this show. Considering they’ve lasted three seasons so far as the lowest rated network show on the air each season, and since CW tends to give a little more leeway to its creative/critic darlings (see also: Jane The Virgin),

I thought she did a pretty brilliant job back in season 1 with “Dream Ghosts”, but this latest song just put her over the top with me. Loved it!

I’ve noticed the same thing. It makes me wonder if that tweet he posted a few months ago, implying that his time on the show was at an end was real— which he later retracted to say that he meant only that filming for the season had wrapped. Maybe Josh Chan will be off the show to find himself next season. Maybe he can

I do the same with my friends on No Limits arcade mode, where we’ll occasionally have 6 Torbjorns running simultaneously. Hilarity ensues, until we start getting taken out by a pack of angry Winston monkeys! ;)

For what it’s worth, I ended up buying it. After seeing all of the glowing reviews and the comments here about how the beta was not a good indicator, I decided to take the risk and give it a shot....

Whoa.

haha... I love it! I’m still very much on the fence between just taking the plunge and waiting for the inevitable sale. I don’t have any friends who plan on playing it, I don’t think, so it’s not like I’ll miss out on multiplayer with them.

I think you nailed what I didn’t like right there: I didn’t get to “take it slow” in the beta. I was tossed into the deep end of the pool with twenty minutes to complete a mission, but no real context of what the best way was to tackle the mission outside of “follow the Scoutflies”. Ok, what the hell are scoutflies?

Did I play with you? ;)

I gotta disagree with this, especially the “not be punished by mistakes” part, because to me, if you aren’t roughly aware of when the enemy Mercy’s last rez was and you haven’t taken her out yet, then that’s your own gameplay mistake. That’s not on the enemy Mercy or the player she’s rezzing; Mercy is just doing her

I played 1, 2, & 3 and loved them, flaws and all. I could even tolerate the ending of 3 and still feel warm fuzzies from the experience I had.

As someone who doesn’t follow traditional sports, can you elaborate, please?

As an admittedly silver/low gold ranked competitive player who usually prefers quickplay anyway, I ask this with zero snark intended whatsoever: How is the current Mercy res ability significantly worse than a well-placed Symmetra teleporter?

Zenyatta tends to be my go-to healer and was my starter healer, because I have juuuuussst enough aiming ability to where I can take down an enemy quickly with my discord orb on. It was a good intro for me to single-target healing, and personally, I find Zen’s ultimate more effective when trying to counter an enemy

That’s a shame that it sounds like this franchise will go out with a sad fizzle. My husband and I loved the first movie and have watched it more times than we can count. The second one, we saw once in the theater and walked away from it feeling very “meh”. I’d hoped the third movie would redeem itself.

Unless I already missed it already, it looks like the Playbase and Subwoofer don’t have the sale price currently (with “shipped and sold by Amazon”, too) :-(

*raises hand* Another one of the five here, too. It’s clunky, but it’s still better than Apple Music was (at least compared to the last time I tried using it 4-5 years ago). I’m all for thoughtful redesign of the service, if that’s what this is.... but I’m doubtful.
