I like it when one superhero is one superhero.
I like it when one superhero is one superhero.
Mildly soothing, but getting more worrisome since Trump’s chance of winning jumped 10+ points since the last time I looked. Also worrisome is the fact that Silver and co., by their own admission, completely underestimated Trump’s chances of even getting this far.
It’s also the only game that my husband actively wants to watch me play (he’s not a gamer; he just married one), so bonus!
That would be nice, but HBO is going to cling on to this cash cow for as long as they reasonably can. Two mini-seasons (vs. one long season) ensures that people will stay subscribed for at least an extra year.
Please tell your husband thank you from me! I can’t wait to play it!
I can relate — My orthopedic surgeon was named Dr. Blam! Not exactly the name you want for someone doing delicate work on bones and ligaments
No Crazy Ex-Girlfriend comedy nods, either for the show or anyone in the cast? Fail, Emmys.... Fail! You made Rebecca sad.
I’ll also toss in that I really miss the Ultimate versions of Aunt May, Gwen Stacy, MJ, and Kitty Pryde.
Well, it’s official. I’ve rolled with it from cartoons for years (e.g. various incarnations of Transformers and TMNT), but I have apparently now reached THAT point in my life with TV shows where I’m all “Back in my day, Buffy and BSG (2003) were fantastic TV shows! Why would they want to even try remaking it when they…
How long before someone develops a Hodor doorstop?
I was a huge fan of the first season, but even then, the show was starting to show cracks at the seams by the end of the season, with plot twists and characterizations that gave me whiplash by how quickly they were resolved and brushed aside, often within a single episode. This season, I barely lasted five episodes…
re: #4 — I’m not rooting FOR the Lannisters so much as I’m rooting for the Tyrells. Unfortunately, right now, the enemy of my enemy blah blah blah, so we kind of need the Lannisters to get Margaery (& Loras? but really, mostly Margaery) back into the game.
They are not trans if they haven’t had the surgery.
I love this show AND I agree wholeheartedly with this article!
Especially with regard to Superman, I can’t decide if REBIRTH is a case of course over-correction or under-correction for DC. On the one hand, it seems like they are attempting to get back lapsed readers by bringing back the Superman many of us grew up with and loved (post-Crisis/pre-Flashpoint Superman). On the other…
I’m finally getting around to Shadows of Mordor, and it’s frikkin’ fantastic, so I’ll be slaying ALL THE THINGS!
While I’ll agree that Teen Titans has been pretty craptacular from the bits and pieces I’ve seen in the New 52, I really liked the New 52 Blue Beetle run overall. It’s because of that run that I’ll check out the Rebirth BB title.
Gotham Academy was confirmed to get a new title starting in the fall, but with the same creative team. I think that’s why it’s not being included as a “Rebirth” title.
On the other hand, if this turns out to be a (financially) good crossover for both networks, maybe Kara could find her way to Earth-1 somehow next season and we can have the Diggle freakout and Cisco geekout that we’re all craving! ;)
I have a stinking suspicion that Barry (or more likely, Cisco) will end up referring to Supergirl’s Earth as “Earth-S”, saving the Earth-3 name for the planet of morality-swapped heroes & villains.
