I like to rag on Ike Perlmutter as much as anyone, but this seems more like a short-sighted misstep at the Kevin Feige level, since AoS will apparently acknowledge Civil War’s events in the TV show.

You had me until Lobo! ;)
I wonder if this episode will reference the giant Dimension X worm that the current Turtles accidentally dropped into the 80s Turtles’ dimension a few seasons ago.
In addition to its PC release, it’s a PS4 console exclusive
I preordered it for the PS4 this morning. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m buying into all the hype and that it could very well come back to bite me, but... no, no buts. It could totally come back and bite me.
To me, at least, Finn was pretty clearly friendzoned by Rey, so the chemistry they had between each other wasn’t romantic
As someone who grew up in a time where the gay guy from Melrose Place was the only representation of a non-villain gay person I could find on network TV in the early 90s, add my name to those testimonials. Despite the fact that he never had anything really good happen to him and he couldn’t be shown kissing a man on…
Those were some AMAZING special effects, even moreso when you realize it’s on a network TV budget... on the CW! Huge kudos to the effects team!
My best theory:
The whole “keeping secrets for their safety” thing really doesn’t work on tv. At least not on these shows. The changes in Laurel and Iris in particular are stunning.
Maybe it’s time to let the “One Big Bad” formula go and try something new. Maybe two Big Bads. One for each half of the season, the second arising organically from the ashes of the first.
For me, one of the biggest missteps of the New 52 was the simple fact that the reboot wasn’t a full-on reboot, mostly because Batman and Green Lantern were still selling well pre-New 52, so they didn’t want to start telling stories from scratch with those two franchises. Instead, it was a “soft reboot” that reset a…
I agree. I was expecting the age difference between classic 80s Pee-Wee and 21st Century Pee-Wee to be a little more obvious. If only we all aged that well (and had professional makeup people)
I refer to myself as a recovering Cathaholic (spelling intentional)
Before Quesada ruined that, too (by clarifying what it was that MJ whispered into Mephisto's ear... and why would Mephisto so giddily agree to making Spider-Man's identity secret again, anyway?), I liked the original idea that some had speculated that MJ asked to remember everything and that it would be her burden to…
I don't see Ultimate Thor in that image. Is he dead, too?
The path to a Miles Morales Spider-Man movie?
I like that, but I'll go just a little bit further. What if Superman remained white, but was raised by an African-American Ma & Pa Kent? How would that change Kal-El's view of the world and how he approaches his heroic life as he grows up seeing how his parents are treated in certain situations?
I thought DC really missed a huge opportunity to diversify their line when they launched the New 52. Ryan Choi could have been the one and only Atom, for example.
YAAASSSSS!!!! Yip Yip!!
