I saw @JamieMF 's post below and I had to post an anecdote about a former roomie who LOVED passive aggressive notes.

They're pretty hard to find! Good luck.

I know I basically exploded with culinary self-importance when I served it.

They're just slightly smaller than a tangerine. Yes, it's a pain in the ass to juice them - I think I needed the whole bag I got for the pie. However, I felt it was necessary to say that I had made a real key lime pie.

I made key lime pie with real key limes the other day. So worth it!

Nah, they'd spend the whole date talking about themselves.

Do we really need to call it tan-orexia?

Pointing out the damage tanning does is a GOOD thing. Since it is a health hazard, I would welcome tanning becoming passe.

To my mind, most of the stories supported by accounts from "sources" have been fabricated to appeal to readers' confirmation bias unless the sources are named. I can't imagine, for example, why the Wanted would feel the need to bring Britney up in conversation with Xtina under these circumstances - if in fact they

I don't know, I thought that backstage account was probably fabricated by a fan. I don't think Britney would have been brought up under these circumstances.

Why is it a norm that in greeting a female you kiss their cheek? Seems a bit invasive if you ask me. I know that I wouldn't have expected that kind of greeting and would have been caught off guard.

"...I guess faked enthusiasm is important for a lot of people".

That is a very interesting segment of the clip - I'd never heard her actually speak on public perception of her personality but this confirms what I was thinking. I definitely feel like I can empathize with her. As a little kid with a younger brother with severe autism, I definitely got in the habit of shutting out

Show of hands for everyone whose parents have forgotten them someplace?

Not a fan of Maxwell for a girl.

That account from the backstage hand sounded pretty fake, to be honest.

Well I think Xtina and I are a lot alike in that sometimes we don't make the greatest first impressions. Honestly, if I were in her position and I had to get rid of two people who I had been mentoring for months I would probably want a moment to myself - and that may have been the moment where it was expected that

I don't know that account sounded made up to be honest (Britney somehow became involved? hmmm) but Xtina doesn't owe them anything. She probably was just in her own head for a little bit, considering she had to make an elimination that night.

You're right, there isn't really enough balance between the characters and that is bothering me.

You opted for Desperate Housewives over Mad Men?
