My dream non-profit would involve artisan textile production and crafts education in third-world countries. It would keep old techniques alive, create jobs, strengthen community/cultural ties, etc.

Yep, I know all about the hidden job market. My new strategy is avoiding the orgs. that advertise like crazy and sticking with the ones that post jobs on their website alone.

Yeah, I've gotten a handful of jobs through friends and family.

I had it pretty good with my internship.
