“Cocktails and Dreams” really is the perfect, er, distillation of Happy Endings in one ep. And the “whore’s bath” mini monologue is the perfect center of it all. There are so many bits in this ep that would just be cringe-worthy or fall flat on lesser shows but they pull them off. Especially the Freddy Krueger outfit.

As a married father of 3 who usually handles the laundry, I can definitely knock out a movie while folding a week’s worth of laundry.

Yeah, that’s the slight overlap, but tonally it’s completely off and the family dynamics/message couldn’t be more different.
