I don’t think this is too spoilery, but I spent most of the movie trying to understand why turning back wouldn’t have been the obvious best option. Did anyone ever address that? Were we supposed to assume the mission was more important than human lives?
They better not bounce the check to Kunta Kinte
This all makes sense, sure. Although I think your argument is more why sexually explicit content is appropriate and should be expected at the Grammys, not why it’s appropriate and should be expected on prime time network tv. Which is what people are complaining about.
The prevailing opinion here seems to be that the onus is solely on the viewer to be constantly watching out for content they find to be offense, so they can change the channel to avoid viewing it.
Well... shit.
It’s a very confusing argument to make. “Sexual agency” can be exercised in a multitude of ways outside of prime time network tv. These ideas are not connected.
You win.

I enjoy Bob Odenkirk, and I enjoyed reading this. Thank you. That is all.
Oh come on now, YOU try coming up with a compelling performance for a character called “Depressed Persian Tow Truck Man”! It can’t be done.
My only regret is that I don’t have more stars to give.
Go to your room, Internet.
