The two biggest reality shows - American Idol and Survivor - premiered 5 and 7 years before the last writer strike. MTV started The Real World in 1992. Hollywood didn’t need to lose their writers to figure out that cheap reality TV that required little staff and no high paid stars could fill time on the schedule and

This is the first I’ve heard that non-writers are not even supposed to *promote* their work during the WGA strike. Aren’t actors and directors still doing interviews and photoshoots and such?

Minnesotan here. That was a bad bill that got introduced and rammed through a week before the session ended. Minnesota already produced the most progressive session of any state in the country this year so for him to veto it shows you just how bad the bill really is.

If this would help the “phase I” people I’m all for it. People with Parkinson’s, paralyzed and other neurological disorders this might help. Not a fan of Phase II or whatever is beyond that though.

the only thing that is missing is a link directly in the Youtube shorts that brings you to the whole youtube video, if there’s one.

I have to admit I have been enjoying youtube shorts while I am on the throne or waiting for my friend to withdrawl money from the ATM, that sort of thing.

You can try and stretch anything into an automotive-related story when your only goal is to get hate clicks.

“It’s a Monday, so let’s make sure to publish the most heartbreaking, gut-wrenching, awful, horrible story possible for no reason. Like something your brain would make you think of at 2 in the morning when you’re trying to sleep but can’t because depression. Also please ensure it’s not automotive related at all.

This is a very favorable interpretation of what happened to the original Luddites.

OpenAI Founder’s Worldcoin Reportedly Perpetuates Black Market for Iris Data

It’s a lot less than that for a family of 4—around $750 per person, per day, all-in. Still exorbitant but given it’s all-inclusive and the operating expenses, probably not as profitable as you’d think, and even then, only at capacity. If it was making money they wouldn’t be shutting it down.

He’s got over 15 million subs on YouTube.  Your anecdotal lack of awareness of him does not negate his popularity.

Kudos to Linus for having the maturity and humility to make this move. This right here is why a ton of game studios and tech companies crash and burn or end up with super toxic work cultures, because the founders were coders or designers or artists—people who don’t necessarily have the skillset, temperament, or actual

Hell yeah. For anyone keeping up with the WAN show, this was a long time coming. I don’t expect the channel to change at all from our point of view.

Hopefully he can find the time to intelligently de-tech-ify his house now.

We support healthy decision making from people in charge.

Good. Let the man do what he wants to do. I’d prefer him to be on-screen and enthousiastic about tech without him melting down behind the scenes.

There’s some false logic in market share if you don’t also look at the profit margins. You can have 90% market share, not make a profit, and go bankrupt.

1st Gear: So Tesla’s market share sank, but how many EVs did they sell compared to everyone else? Market share isn’t the entire picture. Ie., iOS is about 50% of the Mobile OS market share in the US, the rest held by Android. But more importantly, Apple is the only manufacturer of the iPhone, whereas there are

The Mach-E was overpriced for what you got, and with Tesla dropping prices, it’s not surprising. The F-150 Lightning is now even more overpriced than ever, but try finding another EV pickup that’s actually attainable. Once it has competition, it’ll go the same way as the Mach-E. Ford needs to find cost savings in

Eh, you all tell us that “buying new is for suckers”[1], “sell no” you say [2]... And if we are to buy new, definitely don’t buy that cheap base model [3]. Instead of buying a cheaper new car, you usually recommend an depreciated, older larger, sometimes luxury car instead[4].

The tone of this article is bizarre. The reasons fans don’t “respect” Sakura is that she’s terrible. Because she’s a fictional character that was written consistently poorly across the entire run of the story. It’s very normal to not like poorly written fictional characters, yet it seems like you’re trying to twist it
