Yord is not that; he is brash, quick to judgment, untrusting, suspicious.

Even that lost flap was still actively moving on command after the corner of the hinge burned through.
Seems like a success, even if Starship lost a flap on the way down (it seems like it was able to right itself and do the soft landing anyways). It seems like the heat shield held up on everywhere but that hinge, which is good.
well this didn’t age well
OK, it looks like Starship also touched down in the ocean, although it took a hell of a beating on the way down. :D
Sorry to partially disappoint; the Booster successfully landed in the ocean only a short while ago. (WHEEEEEE!!! What an amazing sight. :D)
Gotta love the “environmental” idiots in Germany protesting an EV factory and lithium mines instead of, oh, I dunno... VOLKSWAGEN, the world’s largest manufacturer of gas-powered vehicles
Why is this a slideshow?
Don’t forget that they are upset about them chopping a piece of forest down that was artificially planted in the first place. Also that out of all the car companies in Germany, they picked Tesla who has one of the most environmentally friendly car factories in Europe. Not to mention how strict the laws are about…
So people (supposedly) want emissions free, or at least low emission, vehicles then protest at a factory making them?
That’s not a protest, that’s trespassing.
They accomplished nothing and now they have a criminal record that will follow them the rest of their lives. Stupid games, stupid prizes.
In Phase 3 and 4 they were pumping out 4-6 movies within 12 months.
Was there ever a year in which Marvel released more than three movies?
Anyone who knows even the slightest thing about how those workloads operate was already aware of this. It’s why so much of the pearl clutching around “AI stealing jobs” always seems hilariously and needlessly sensationalistic.
Another failure of our government in the U.S., that they can tie completely unrelated things together like this, holding the things that “We the People” want hostage to force through things we don’t want.
Excellent. I understand all social media is essentially a spying and influence apparatus, but I’d much rather it not be China having that ability.
This is not a free speech issue. If it was, it would include all other popular social media companies. The fact that THIS one is owned by a Chinese company that is obligated to turn over any and all assets to the Chinese government upon request, is the issue.
Bitcoin was at $75k and Ethereum at $3.5k like a month ago.
Yeah, they’re not going to be used for “emergency supplies.”
