This is what happens when you try to jump into a complex technology where someone has more then a decade of knowledge over you. You’re a decade behind. Tesla’s battery charge and utilization technology and knowledge is so far beyond it will take years to catch up to today and by then they will be ahead even more. I

Buyer, sure. Because those who had fucks to give wouldn't buy a taycan.

You bet the stock is over-valued. You be the state of the world economy and its appetite for Tesla products is tenuous. However...

You really love to go full negative. Model S and X are stagnant cause lower range models got discontinued and Model 3 cannibalization. But even with that they are selling just fine in their market segment.

I occasionally stagger into r/WallStreetBets (don’t do it). I’ve seen guys making YOLO puts on Tesla and trying to short it for over 3 months. As you can imagine, it hasn’t gone well.

I could see “deminonbinary” as a valid identity; it would mean you’re a little bit nonbinary. Most people use “demigirl” or “demiboy” though. And using his nickname as his pronouns could *really* be communicated better; I do know people who don’t like pronouns at all, they just prefer their name to be said in all

I just cannot stop laughing at this thing.

Tesla to a record $419 a share this week, or a $75.6 billion valuation that is greater than all but Toyota ($231 billion)

dude. the individual share price has absolutely no bearing on comparing the value of two companies

Do you understand how stocks work? Reading your comments, it’s clear you don’t. The number of outstanding shares is another piece of the puzzle. Apple’s stocks used to be value around $650/share before they split their stock at 7-1, so if you owed 1 share at $650, you now owed 7 shares @ $92.85 each = $650. Stock

LoL. Obviously you don't.

toyota is valued at three times as much as tesla.

True in the longest-term sense, but the market is willing to accept years of unprofitability as long as sales growth continues (cf. Amazon).

It’s not triple that of Toyota. Look in the article; it’s less than 1/3 the value of Toyota. Price of a single share is irrelevant if that’s what you’re basing your comment on.

This misunderstanding of the stock market pops up a lot. Markets are a gamble on the future with an eye toward the past.

Someone forgot to do any research into how hydrogen is sourced, and how that compares to other fuel sources. We’re either using natural gas to create the hydrogen, or via electrolysis which is more energy intensive than just charging the batteries of a BEV.

According to the AP style guide, data is a collective noun that takes the singular when treated as a unit.

When was the last time Formula One had ten manufacturers?

Electric cars are *most* feasible in suburbs and outside of urban environments, so I’m not sure what your point is there.
