I’ve been renting a Polestar 2 from Enterprise for the past month or so. It’s a great car, and renting it has definitely provided a lot of clarity as to whether an apartment-dweller like me can daily-drive an EV (spoiler alert: I can, and public EV charging in LA is stupidly easy to access).

I’ve been driving the Polestar 2 while my car’s in the shop. Fantastic car, but frustrating infotainment/charging experience.

He’s not an engineer or an innovator, he’s a master of self-promotion and not much else

Who wants to bet that it’s a telescoping windshield wiper?

So, you back into parking, is that correct? Never work where I lived, nobody can pull in and park and backing in would be a disaster.

Gerstmann’s firing from GameSpot basically killed my enthusiasm for the gaming community. I often cited that incident as the reason why the whole Gamergate/KotakuInAction/etc. “movement” was such a pathetic joke.

I will NOT miss his jaded cynicism, and seeming dislike for most games put before him in the last few years.

I think it’s more telling that their only quick chargers are Superchargers. So not just “no gas cars,” but effectively “no non-Tesla cars.”

“reeks of desperation” would be laying off thousands in order to drastically cut costs.

I see the writing is there, but I don’t understand the drawings to see where the screens will be.

Damnnit. I thought it was a Drive in Theater, not a drive in diner. I admit that a drive in diner is cool, but I have a Sonic in town.

Mainly: will Tesla be buying out the existing restaurant that’s there so they can tear it down for the diner?

I find that a hotel is only worth paying for if it’s on either side of the spectrum. The ones in the middle are the ones that underdeliver.

Respectfully disagree about not standing up till it’s your turn to move.

Wait what? Is this a thing now? Moderates are Republican? Have I suddenly lost touch with reality or something?

A clean T-shirt. I used to never bring a fresh T-shirt in my carry-on bag—that is, until the flight I spilled an entire can of Ginger Ale on myself, and sat in a damp, sticky shirt all the way to sunny Orlando. Now I always pack a spare.

It’s the only instrument I’ve ever tried learning how to play so from my perspective: very hard, lol. It’s been almost five months and I can still barely play Twinkle Twinkle, and even then it’s a tossup whether I’d be able to play it without scratching it screeching.

Took up the violin at 38. I’m gonna still be practicing “Row Row Row Your Boat” when they stick me in the crematory 😅

I’ve been using a Polestar 2 as a work rental for the past week or so. It’s a fantastic car to drive, but other factors make it a bit more frustrating

forensic doctors reported that Hawkins heart weighed 200 grams (about twice the amount of the average human’s)
