Sorry if I missed this, but did they mention at any point if the police had gotten involved? Why wouldn't she be charged with something after such a publicly violent act? Everyone seemed to have been filming the attack. What happened to the guy who harassed her? Did he go to the hospital too? Did he die?

I can't see it being six. Next week is the battle, then there would be one more, but they've set up pretty strongly that a war of sorts is coming and it doesn't sound like the kind of thing that can be resolved in one episode. We shall see.

I read the scene as them offering absolution to the man. The demon needs an entryway to latch on to the soul. Casey's insecurity and jealousy, for example. Maybe in this man's case it was guilt about something he did. Once he felt absolved and loved, the demon lost the hold it had on him.

Or I could just watch Treme again.
