This post, unfortunately, implies several things about LastPass that are simply not true.

@Zak123: You obviously didn't notice the "Roller Coaster" switch in the app's preferences screen...

@silvermoonstar3: Even if you use Dvorak as your regular keyboard it's hard to argue you shouldn't also know qwerty as Dvorak is frankly a rare layout and qwerty is ubiquitous. Unless you never have to type on any keyboard other than your own it's advantageous to know the qwerty layout. There's no advantage to either

@jaden: Since you posted that I've been scowering the Autohotkey documentation for a function that will kick a cat. Can't find one. I guess I'll just have to keep taking allergy pills...

@Whitson Gordon: It doesn't help that he used the Autohotkey compiler to turn it into an .exe file. This is convenient as it doesn't require the user to download and install Autohotkey to run the script files, but the compiler utilizes some kind of packer to compress the size of the .exe which triggers lots of false

@strays2k: The learning time doesn't have to be offset by cumulative time savings in future errors to be worthwhile. What matters is if it will allow you to enter text more quickly, with fewer errors, and less frustration when you actually need it. The problem with something like this that requires a considerable

@sk1d: I guess it would depend on the relative prices. It may be cheaper to do it yourself. Also, you may already be paying for a hosting service for your website, so it may make sense to piggyback your own proxy server on that rather than paying for a second service. But you also have to take a look at the bandwidth

@SBM_from_LA: Not sure if you're for real or just a spammer but Real Hide IP uses a proxy server to hide your IP. So this is no different except now you're trusting a third party to relay all your data and one I've never heard of before. If I were going to pay for a relay I'd rather pay for one of the more established

@piggyslasher: How is tag support in Google Bookmarks and is it compatible with tags in Firefox bookmarks?

Clearly the authors of this study are just shills of the chair industrial complex! Do not believe their lies!

@soujisama: Because the G2 won't work on AT&T or most of the major Canadian 3G networks. I suppose they may have an exclusive deal with T-mobile but this shouldn't preclude a Canadian launch which would give AT&T customers a better (and probably cheaper) option than ordering from Europe.

@Zack Brown: Is that really all you got out of this article?

@gravi_t: There was a huge buzz about wave (pardon the Google puns) but it happened before the private by-invite release so the pool of potential users and the visibility by the general public were seriously restricted. I've never used Wave and don't really understand what makes it stand out but it's clear that it's a

Question for you optometrists or photographers: What's with the hexagonal pattern visible around the highlight in several of these photos? Is that some kind of artifact of the camera or setup or is the cornea really textured that way?

This is nothing but baseless speculation from a single researcher published in a non-peer reviewed paper based on differences between Japanese and western incidence of cancer which does not properly take into account the myriad other possible differences that could account for these observations. It's unfortunate that

@metalmaniac: Strange. Mine works much better since 3.6.4. I was getting frequent temporary freezes (I think from Xmarks) which no longer occur. Actually, from the description of 3.6 it sounds like plugins but not addins use the new system, so it's not clear why it works better now but it certainly does. Hope 3.6.6

Even if you don't use any new features it is still a very good idea to keep up with updates as they may contain miscellaneous bug fixes but more importantly fixes for security issues. Most drive by malware attacks on the internet occur by exploiting unpatched vulnerabilities either in the OS or 3rd party software

@Miral007: Sorry, the article isn't fine. I quote, "If you're heading out into the woods this weekend to try your hand at mushroom collecting "... certainly implies that it's okay for a complete amateur armed with some photos from a website to go out rummaging for wild mushrooms. As many others have already stated,

@ecd1211: As far as I can tell this is not true as I successfully used it with Firefox on Windows. I would guess therefore it should work with Firefox in Linux and OS X but I can't say for sure. It is not, however, limited to IE.
