I choose to believe that the headline is a sly, jokey reference to the phenomenon wherein teens scramble to comment “first” as soon as their fave posts content to social media.

“You had Dr. Pepper every other time I’ve ever been here!”
I imagine the Pinkham’s Law will take the “How could the soup be hot enough to burn? The restaurant is to blame!”
“Sheesh, just give her a bigger container of soup. It’s not that hard”
I LOVE HOT AND SOUR SOUP. Like I really just want to put my face in that bowl of soup right now.
I’m sorry, are you genuinely saying throwing soup on someone because you are dumb enough not to realize the container is the same size as what you got last week is acceptable?
That’s Hot & Sour Soup, the same as in the story.
The real question is; are we going to get Pinkham’s Law on this story? “Maybe she was from a culture where throwing soup is a common sign of professional courtesy”? “Maybe the restaurant owner is lying and also tampered with the surveillance camera”? “Who among us can honestly say we have never physically assaulted…
While the burning with soup is the obvious issue here and an absolutely fucking unacceptable way to deal with anything as a grown ass person (or as a child)... Can we just agree that people that pull the, “I just had/bought/received/did this here last week,” customers are some of the FUCKING WORST?
Y’know, I’ve been dissatisfied with my meal in restaurants before. Dissatisfied with the kitchen taking too long even though there are only three tables full in a forty table venue; dissatisfied with my cocktail being nothing but mixer and a breath of vodka; dissatisfied that my rare steak was medium well. Most of the…
Why are customers always convinced people are lying to them? They have only one cup size, they aren’ trying to trick you for the fun of it. I one time had a customer, when I worked at the convenience store, swear up and down they paid for a money order with a credit card there just recently. The damn computers didn’t…
Where in Canada are you? Here in Ontario there’s a regular minimum wage of $11.25, and a liquor servers minimum wage of $9.80.
In some provinces, we do have a difference. I’m Albertan, so our minimum just went up this week, but there’s still an inequality. Thank goodness ours is getting phased out and, within a few years, minimum will be $15 here!
The job creator is the most delicate of species, if their nest is disturbed in the slightest they’ll fly off and stop producing shitty minimum wage employment and then where will we be?
But it’s unfair to have unions, because rich people deserve their money!
Why are you stealing from those poor job creators?
the only rational, educated people who blindly oppose all properly regulated unions are the rich, the misinformed and those who parrot the billionaire’s talking points, falsely thinking it will get them into the club.
Lol. I have a server that I have to restrain from tipping me out when I help her if she’s the only one on the floor. I’m like, “I GET PAID A SALARY. TAKE YOUR MONEY OR I WILL WRITE YOU UP FOR MAKING ME TAKE ILLEGAL TIPS.”
I prefer my unicorn kitty.
It is so infuriating that wage theft is not treated like theft. If an organization steals 40 thousand dollars across state lines, they should be facing RICO charges.
Let me just get the Pinkham’s Law out of the way, because I don’t see any yet and I’m SURE it’ll happen-
ARGLE BARGLE BUT RESTAURANT MANAGERS WORK HARD TOO AND NEVER GET TIPS DID YOU KNOW RESTARANT MONAGERS CARE ONLY ABOUT THE SUCCESS OF THE RESTESRAUNT AND ARE SELFLESS ANGELS TO WORK AS HARD AS THEY DO FOR THE…
