Except I only buy hummus when I know I’m not going to have the time or energy to make food for myself, and want to have something a little less nutritionally void than Spaghetti-Os.

I grew up being served this on a semi-regular basis. I liked it. I still make it from time to time.
Every other straight couple their age who have been together for decades are not that lovey dovey.
When I taught (90s/early 00s) our school was permitted to rent out space during non-school hours to community organizations, including churches. From the description of the school as “co-hosting,” I’m not sure that’s what going on here, though.
So he’s only in his 20s? Because I’m in my 40s, and Ross Perot was definitely in my adult lifetime.
...except we don’t live in America?
My wife does, and we have had lengthy arguments about this (not *angry* arguments, mind you). In her case, it’s due to English being her second language, I think. She calls all shirts that are made out of knit fabric (even very fine, non-sweater-like knit) “sweaters.” Drives me nuts.
He has kids. He posts pictures of the cows more often because, he says, the cows won’t ever be embarrassed by it. (Also, he’s really proud of his herd. I have no idea if that’s justified or not, but hey, they’re usually pictures of calves, and calves are cute.)
That could be it. It really is a very old-fashioned, farm-boy sort of name.
I taught a Caleb for three years (same kid, three different subjects). He was a sweet kid as a teenager. I see him from time to time on social media (we’re from the same small town, so there’s some overlap in our social circle) and he seems like a decent guy as an adult, too. He mostly posts pictures of his cows.
End of the 1980s, for me.
Zima didn’t show up until the 90s. Wine coolers, though...
My dentist didn’t even require a responsible adult, just that I wasn’t driving. So I walked the mile home drooling slightly (from the novocaine) plus lurching and staggering like I’d been on a five-day bender. I don’t actually *remember* this, but that’s at least the condition I got home in.
There are a lot of dog anti-vaxxers, too. I think there are fewer visible cat anti-vaxxers because there are a lot of (crappy) cat owners who don’t vaccinate their cats, period--not anti-vaccine, but anti-spending money on this pet that they’re supposed to be responsible for, unless forced to by law.
Fair enough. Like I said, whether he had or hadn’t, Kirk is still terrible.
Did Kirk actually endorse Trump ever? I know he publicly un-endorsed him in June for the attack on Curiel, but I never got the impression he was a Trump supporter during the primaries.
It’s highly dependent on genetics. I’ve had cats whose teeth had problems starting at a pretty young age, and cats who made it to 18 with no dental problems (well, minor tartar buildup, but never any rotting teeth/gum infections) on the exact same diet.
True. Though it’s sad that while I don’t actually think Trump would eat a baby, I find that scenario more plausible than his saying something non-hateful.
I wish, but you know what? I think that Trump could stand in the middle of Park Avenue and shoot someone and not offend his base.
I sort of assume that “resting” in her case means “sitting down to do the debate prep.”
