The Elden Ring lore is pretty fascinating. Just wish it was presented better. I wouldn’t call deep dives into item descriptions and 4+ hour lore videos a great method.

Considering the dual screen design forces a lot of DS games to be fully remade (not simply ported or emulated) to run well on a landscape display, we’re in for a rough time in the pursuit of game preservation.

I agree it is a crying shame Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton never got a  nomination for Re-Animator, From Beyond, or Castle Freaks. 

Yeah for all the grief this franchise takes for getting silly (Manhattan, Space, etc.) almost all of the early entries are rock-solid horror films.  I’ll go with II as well since it’s the first time we actually get Jason marauding, but I don’t remember being let down by any of the ones you list.

I just was never able to get on board with Scream. And “A New Nightmare” is...not as great as people remember. haha Maybe? Cool premise.

X is one of the best funny movies to watch at 2AM if you had a few drinks.

1-4, 6, and X all belong way ahead of the remake. Remake is no where near top twenty worthy.

It’s a shame that this is written up in a slideshow format instead of a good format that a person would actually want to read.

I liked the Friday the 13th remake but I would put Part 2 of the Original if I was going to put any Friday on the list. Maybe even Part 4 or 6 before the remake.
