For sure! You could dial in to the BBS to find them, or snag them from Usenet, or (every now and then) find random home-boxed floppies at Babbage’s or your local computer club.

Yep, Public Domain games and type-in games for the 8-bit micros were the Indies back then, and stuff given away on tapes and disks sellotaped on front of magazines, plus downloadable bits and pieces for the fancy kids with the early internet services. Probably not so much on the SNES or megadrive but the indie scene…

Probably a long while. It’s $5 on its own and pretty much part of every Apple bundle. It does go across the whole ecosystem too so you can play games on iPhone, iPad, Macbook, and Apple TV. I’ve been enjoying it and they have a decent selection. The best part about it is no MTX and free DLC.

Maybe the Charlie’s Angel opportunity presented itself so she took it as she thought it was the only opportunity she’d have to do an action film, but rebooting a franchise was bad idea.
