I used know a chick who drove a similar Jag. Trashiest drunk you ever met. Every time I saw it, I always imagined a fine English leather brief case that someone threw up in.
You are a grade A looser. Nice to see Trump is getting to you.
Wait a minute, did the original rules claim that this first date was with a cousin?
An Olympic champion, even if he won decades ago, is still an olympic champion. How about luxury without snobbery, comfort without excess, in a large German V8 that cruises along the highway perfectly at 140mph? Nothing shouts refinement like an electric center mirror. Here is a 1994 Mercedes-Benz S420. Admittedly,…
This V8 swapped Chrysler Sebring convertible looks like it is a great choice! Drop top, automatic for maximum hand holding, and a jungle gym in the back for those stargazing opportunities.
$13,500
Yes, I forgot to say something about, if your lucky it will last the date without breaking down, but the break down could be another bonus, I saw one of these in the flesh for the first time this summer and it was car lust at first sight. The color combo on this one is awesome as well.
I'm not an Airbus engineer, but I am an aircraft engineer. The gear will be fine. It's designed and tested for worst case scenarios for certification
It adds weight, complexity, cost, and a potentially lurid risk if the wind direction is reporting as being opposite to what it really is, or you dial it in opposite!
It actually all has to do with the range. The wings on a B-52 are designed in such a way where they can generate massive amounts of lift at high altitude, giving them huge ranges. However, one of the side effects of this is that the B-52 flies with a nose down attitude. So to land a plane that flies like a clown, they…
After pushback, or during pushback. Seems like there was a recent Alaska wingtip contact that can clearly be attributed to the tug driver, I wonder at this one as well.
Nicely put. I’d also add that it is very likely that there are binding agreements for possession of the aircraft. Air France or British Airways likely still own the two unclaimed aircraft. Or if a museum owns them from a donation, there are generally stipulations that the aircraft can never fly again, or ownership…
Supplemental information: explosive cords are used as they are vastly more reliable than mechanical latches. This is why space agencies love pyrotechnic bolts: latches stick.
I work for a company that makes avionics computers, and a brief walk through the engineering lab will confirm just how loud the fans can get!
American policy in Syria is absolutely incoherent. On the one hand we want to supposedly intend to overthrow the Assad government, but on the other hand we are opposed to the government that would inevitably step in and replace it, that is, the ISIS lunatics. So our policy evidently is to bomb everybody who is…
I agree. This cannot be exchanged for a full instrument rating, since all the other aspects of the training can’t be bypassed. You need your visual pilot rating training before instrument and you should probably have full instrument before relying on the other bells and whistles. You need your fallback.
Yeah, after I wrote that I was thinking it’s probably more usable for the single-pilot light aircraft guys more than what we do.
