@ErasmusSB654: What the hell. How could they... I mean, the previews... Robert E. Howard. The return of classic American fantasy to the big screen... in blockbuster form no less... I am floored. Floored and disgusted.

Whatever happened with the Solomon Kane movie? Was it even released in the US?

That's pretty awesome of them. The social web 2.0 at work!

@wickiv: Yea, I should probably point out that I'm more of a section hiker than 'camper'. Weight and storage space is key. We did the North Carolina portion of the AT this spring. I'm going to miss the usual fall hike this year. We're going to do a big canoe trip down the Savannah river instead. I'm pretty

@psychiccheese: It doesn't cost hardly anything. I buy the cheap $25 kids tent from Wallmart and waterproof it. Ozark Trail baby. It has enough room for me and my pack and is pretty sturdy actually. The best part is when it gets a hole in it I don't feel bad, I just buy a new one. Weighs like a pound and doesn't

5 pounds is a bit heavy. My sleeping bag and tent together don't weigh 5 pounds. I'm loving the concept though.

@Marand: I'm really more worried about the funky 'in-ear' style of them. From what I understand, they don't really go in your ear canal (which might be good experience). I'm sure they'll sound at least as good as the several pairs of Sony phones I have already. Thanks for the heads up about replacements though. ;-)

@Randallrocks: I used a gift card, so at least I'm not out any cash. I'll consider this a test for Bose, being my first experience with them. If I don't like them I'll try out V-moda. I always hear good things about them.

Interesting. I just ordered a pair of BOSE Triport in ear headphones yesterday. My first foray into headphones that cost more than $25. I really really hope they don't suck.

@sid9221: It's just an 'Age in Days' program, written to sound personable. There's no 'conversing' going on at all. I remember it well, it taught me how to spell February as a kid (maybe 7 years old at the time, you had to type in the whole month, not just 'Feb'). It stopped working after y2k, I haven't messed

I'm pretty sure I still have this Basic "Age in days" program somewhere. I know I did have it, the print out is 1 for 1. It doesn't work anymore cause of y2k, but was one of my first games as a kid on my packard bell 286, along with the original Basic X-Wing, Mazes, and some others (i can barely remember). I

Piña Colada. At first butterflies, but then... Purple vaginas?

@lolcopter: The 1964 World's Fair wants its shattered dreams back.

I was a ThunderCats FANATIC when I was a kid. I was even going to get an Eye of Thundera tattoo up until I heard about the movie. This is so sad. I wonder what he got into though. Severed arm in the van? That's some serious Cartel stuff right there.

@slotter: It's been an awesome campaign. No matter what happens we had a great time. Either way, there's still room for a Planescape game with the same characters.

Last game of a D&D 3.5 campaign me and my buds have been playing for 4 years now. I'm pretty sure we are all going to die.

Lucky's return: The Re-Ruination of Scooter's Momma's Girl Parts.

@Communist Pope: Word. I can already see in 3D. I barely wear the glasses that make me see better, I'm not real interested in another set that actually limits my depth perception. Get rid of the glasses and I'd have no problem with it.

I thought I read in a previous post you could get an additional 2 skill points with this DLC, making the lvl cap 52. If you don't accrue exp is there some other mechanic at work to get the 2 additional skill points?
