Then look at it from a humanitarian perspective. ISIS is more than capable of genocide (basically one of their goals). This isn't left vs right. What your basically seeing is the most successful terrorist group to ever grace our planet. That's not good for anybody.

Really?
Go investigate ISIS a bit then consider that again.

In the spirit of price gouging, I've been waiting for an airline to initiate a system where you have to swipe a credit card to recline BUT the person behind you can also pay double to veto.

Umm, can we hurry it up here? Guys, can I get in the boat already? HURRY THE FUCK UP GUYS! OMG, IT'S COMING...

cool job stereotyping a whole group of immigrants because you dont like their taste in clothes and music. sounds familiar.

Amen to that.

I laughed.. though I personally am probably closer to those you hate than someone you'd like, It's not too far off the mark. I live in LP and love a decent night in Wicker Park, though I don't consciously harbor any of the perspectives you hoist on me.

I am such a fan of Valleywag. It means that Sam Biddle's pretentious, judgement filled writing doesn't fill the pages of Gizmodo anymore.

I'm sure HamNo just had an aneurysm. That man drops "gentrification" like it's his jo-...oh, wait, that's exactly his job.

Here in Pittsburgh, where we are seeing incredible transformations of numerous formerly squalid neighborhoods, there are people who complain and call this "gentrification". If "gentrification" means transforming former eyesore neighborhoods with high crime into vibrant urban success stories with increased housing

As a denizen of Riverdale, Bronx...for the last ten years I have been watching the gentrification of the west side of Broadway through Innwood and the Washington Heights sections of Manhattan and I thoroughly welcome it.

This would help the police departments as well. If just from a liability perspective, not to mention public perception.

Instead of getting a snippet of a cellphone camera video they could have the whole incident that can show how things escalated or whatever.

The fact that it reduces their use of force and citizen

Crickets are cheap these days, and considered to be food for the poor (in other countries). Why aren't you snapping it up before the food critics artificially inflate the prices?

Oh wait, because you think it's gross. So maybe this has more to do with people's demand for a food item, and how it is accepted culturally,

There's always Soylent Green. I hear it's quite delicious.

Nice story, anyone have any proof or is this just an attempt to keep the Snowden story relevant?
