They’re doing it because they can simulate hundreds of thousands of miles of hard conditions in just a couple of laps.
When did Blancpain move from a single make series to a GT series? As long as I remember Blancpain was essentially gentlemen racers with their Lamborghinis.
The good news is its a honda, which means with intake, dp, and exhaust and a tune it will be pushing 300 in no time. Honda is going to have a 335/M3 issue on their hands quickly.
I hear you, the amount of excess is a bit ridiculous. I feel like if you have a half way decent idea and scream it out on the streets of san francisco, someone will hand you your “first round funding”.
What shocks me the most is the utter greed at work here. Didn’t Jalopnik just post a story on the goofy bonus structure at waymo that essentially paid people based on tenure in the amounts of millions of dollars? I get that a mil doesn’t buy you much in silicon valley, but to dig a hole this deep, and this unethically…
Why are the Wheels camouflaged, are they worried about getting sued for stealing that design too?
I enjoy the irony that the interviewer appears to be attractive in her own right, and chose to perform (or was instructed?) in an ill fitting giant coat.
no, its just unnecessary to remove if you have the right people :)

Not only are their creations beautiful, but from what us mere mortals are told, they’re excellent in almost every way. From stories of Pagani destroying body panels because a…
Agreed!
I think it was the complete lack of automotive knowledge that really rubbed me the wrong way, there was no inherent passion for the vehicle until over the last season and a half where you could tell he was developing an understanding of being a car guy. Originally he was just thrown up on the screen to “be funny”.
Good, I always liked Tanner and Rut, Adam I could have done without to be honest, he started to grow on me a bit towards the end of the shows run. its a shame, TG USA was cut down just as it was finding its cadence properly.
ROAD TRIP! it would be the properly american version of the grand tour.
Wouldn’t it be hilarious if after all of this Dieselgate shit, Trump rolls back the EPA regulations so much that those cars became legal?
