So is there anything we can / should do to protect ourselves at this point?
I tried about 50 times between 5am and now (every 15-30 minutes I'd give it a shot) and finally while waiting in line for a Gyro I successfully preordered. Yeehaw.
HEY! Carla did my wedding photography! She is the best. I'm really glad you featured her. YAY!
@BrtStlnd: As someone who wears fake eyelashes and cassette tape for hair to work every day, I find your insinuations of the character of such people offensive. It is akin to calling out her huge plastic earrings or her crazy painted on eyebrows. Not everyone who makes faces like this expects to not be taken…
@RäcinG73™: Heartclick for that. I'm with you, brother. Except I used to do time trials, not wheel-to-wheel, and only a teeny bit. But yeah, respect to NASCAR, respect to F1, respect to pretty much everything that people put effort into and enjoy. Respect to you for your post.
@Bumblebee: I'm with you man, heaps of similes and metaphors do not add up to artful or even readable writing. I couldn't stomach this article.
I totally thought that was photoshop. That is unreal. Can you imagine being there when that happened?! Holy crap.
I'm just stoked to see Ford getting back into motorsport (specifically Rally) at this level on their friggn' home turf.
@Feketelaszlo: Good point - that makes sense. But that still doesn't stop me from wanting it! :)
@Feketelaszlo: I guess I'm just looking at the VW Golf R32, Subaru Impreza STi and Mitsu Lancer Evo as examples of high powered, affordable homologation cars. I thought I read somewhere that Ford chose not to include the AWD drivetrain because it saved weight, and at 250 hp I can understand their decision. But add…
@Feketelaszlo: Exactly! So why not make that a production drivetrain!?
If this thing had AWD I would sell my house.
Whoa, did it lose a "thumb" claw on the door? Poor cougar.
CRACK PIPE ON CRACK
@Ash78, illuminaughty: Hey, one of my favorite cars had rat's nests front and back, brittle hoses, and rusty floorboards! It wasn't a barn find, but you know what I'm sayin'.
I watched some of this race, and wished there was some NASCAR on another channel.
I'm wondering if we'd get more positive comments on this thing if there was some footage of it hooning around.
Gorgeous photos! At first I thought this was more stills from GT5...
I voted Crack Pipe based on my own biased history with seeing a great looking old car online and admiring the pics, only to be horribly disappointed when seeing the details in person and enjoying the snow coming up through the rusted floor boards and wheel arches flying off on the highway.
