Me too. This season they’re especially coming off just really...outdated? I don’t love Leah, but she serves as a strong juxtaposition to Sonja and Ramona. The generational divides are huge and hilarious.

My BIL (a pretty standard Republican) voted for Clinton in 2016 and is now voting for Trump in this year’s election. I hope there aren’t MANY people like that, but we were pretty shocked when he told us.

I read somewhere that one of the issues is that they didn’t find a lot of people willing to do the show, precisely because of its location. Politicians in DC are not going to want to expose themselves on reality TV so they had less luck casting than in other cities. Its too closed off and private.

Also, Reese Witherspoon is actually a pretty strong advocate and ally, especially for a celebrity. She has done a lot of work to bring awareness to issues in our country and frequently features black women authors in her book club. Its weird to go after her.
