I’m in the same boat. My partner and I tend to go to Target every few months and just buy the biggest packs of paper supplies (we don’t hoard, but we’ll buy one of those 24 - 36 packs of paper towels or toilet paper and just use it) so a few weeks ago, with the first rush of panic buying, I wasn’t concerned about TP.

Totally agree - Fiona Apple’s music will be PERFECT for this time.

Yeah, it isn’t REALLY about class issues. It is honestly just a love story about dysfunctional millennials, and they happen to be from different social classes but note that they went to the same high school and college so its not like they are ~that different~.

I found the book was super polarizing in my group - you either loved it or hated it. I loved it :D

Exactly. I just don’t think that a 65+ MAGA supporter can watch their spouse/parent/loved one die from coronavirus and not shift their thinking. I think this is the one thing that can hurt Trump.

I feel like grocery stores that are more tucked away in residential areas have more items. My grocery store is beneath my apartment building and it is very residential, mostly just serves the surrounding homes and apartment buildings. For the most part I’ve gotten what I need.

At first I wasn’t too taken aback because I grew up in Florida, and when hurricanes were on the way it was common for stores to be cleaned out. However, that usually lasted about a week. I gotta say, it is eerie to see empty shelves consistently for going on three weeks at my grocery store.*

I’m kind of in the same boat. I live in an apartment building that sits above a grocery store so I’ve been lucky, however, they’ve been out of standard items. I refused to hoard and panic-buy, since even if we went on a shelter-in-place we’ll still be able to grocery shop, and at first I thought to myself “well, it’ll

Yeah, it seems a few people have gotten their “pandemic” list crossed with their “natural disasters” list.

I really hate that this is getting political.

This is how I feel. I feel like “after all this, we’re just going to get Biden?” Like I feel like the entire process was a waste of time.

Wow. I see this ad all the time (frequent Bravo watcher) and have never thought anything other than “Oh, Target.”

Are all of Jezebel’s movie reviews just contrarian for the sake of being contrarian now? I thought this movie was great and so succinctly displayed the trauma and terror of an abusive relationship. I recommend it.

Excellent article. I am getting married and the whole process has me feeling so anxious. Honestly, I feel like I’ve failed as a feminist. I wanted to have a nice celebration with friends and family but it just feels impossible to have any sort of feminist wedding - like the entire tenets and foundation of marriage is

I completely disagree. I love the original movie and I love the new Hulu series.

My mom gets a kick out of the couples from the suburbs in Texas (just an example) who move to Paris or Rome and are then SHOCKED at how small all the apartments are.

I am so mad that that comment got swept under the rug. When she said it I LITERALLY did a double take and REWOUND the recording, I was so shocked.

This is kind of an icky comment. You are having problematic thoughts regarding Asian people and an Asian grocery store, and you are trying to use the “but I’m a PARENT” line to excuse racism. I encourage you to examine these feelings and consider how you are sounding.

I agree with you. I see a lot of comments saying “its about the meal and enjoyment of company, so why not accommodate them.” Well, I agree, but I see it from the other side. Sometimes when you go to someone’s house for dinner, its not about you and your tastes. Its about conversation and spending time with someone. We

I find it odd that you think countries with snow are inherently wealthy? There are plenty of countries with severe poverty and snow...
