This is insane. My entire week is based on me making a huge meal Sunday/Monday and then eating leftovers until Thursday. In fact, some meals even taste BETTER when they’re left over! (soups, for example).

I’d rather die than complain about food. This past weekend I was at breakfast with my boyfriend and his family, and my pancakes weren’t cooked all the way through. The batter was still liquid in the middle. I just ate around it and didn’t say anything. It’s almost like I physically can’t make myself speak up. Idk what…
“Yeah, she thinks she’s better than many of the people that have appeared on that show...and the truth is it’s because she is. Sorry.”
See, I totally don’t see this perspective. RHOBH is my favorite of all the franchises, and I think the best storylines over the years have been the ones not involving LVP. Rinna and Kim Richards, everything to do with Taylor Armstrong, Brandi Glanville and Adrienne Malouf, Camille vs. Kyle...LVP has always been just…
Interesting, I loved Set It Up! My boyfriend and bff, however, didn’t like it.
I agree that its great to see representation in the media we consume. But this movie was mediocre at best. The pacing was weird, the plot weak, and Randall Park’s character was a negative, surly jerk. I’m afraid that we as an audience are lowering our standards for movies, since Netflix churns out so many of them.
That was SUCH a good movie!
Saw this yesterday and loved it! I’m a high school teacher and I found the dynamics between the teenagers to be really accurate - the smart, nerdy girls aren’t necessarily bullied in the classic sense, but they keep a separation between themselves and the mainstream group. When the kids at the party were all excited…
“After decades of reading all the ways women must compete for male attention (through makeup or enhancements or being the “it” girl who’s into video games or whatever) to read men complaining about it, like it’s a new phenomenon, is pretty telling. Telling I guess because it’s just such a blatant display of how sexist…
This is an AWESOME comment and spot on. I was quite the ugly duckling when I hit puberty (I’m a hetero cis woman). I realized in those difficult, formative years that being ugly can make things a little more difficult for you. But what really saved me was feminism. I discovered feminism as I was realizing that looks…
When this incel “movement” first started making its way into mainstream news outlets, I read some comments on an Atlantic facebook post with an article on them. One of the top comments was from a guy and it was so wholesome, he basically said - “Its really not that hard to talk to girls. Be nice, don’t be overbearing,…
My last apartment was owned by a person (not an apartment complex), and he didn’t raise my rent, and this was in a major metro area where rents are high. I think its because I was a really good tenant - easygoing, clean, responsive. So if you’re a good tenant, that can be an incentive for the landlord to keep the rent…
“2. Knowing women who have had the procedure and why they did it.”
This is seriously a huge problem and I think very rude. I keep track of every single dollar in my bank account. When I go out, I plan on how much to spend. I purposefully order certain dishes to fit within my budget. When people start splitting everything and ordering anything they want, it screws me up royally. One…
Same, I don’t even last until page 50, I’ll bail if I’m not interested in the first 25 or so. It helps a lot because most books I enjoy, I enjoy pretty quickly.
Your assumption that using a rideshare or cab means you have to talk is odd. I live in a city. Here’s an example of my Friday night - I take public transit to meet my friends at wherever we are meeting. We go out and drink, dance, whatever. Later in the evening, when it’s time to go home, I order an Uber. Half the…
This is all true. Republicans are much better at voting for whoever their nominee is, the Dems get worse at it each election. And as a Dem I do believe that our biggest priority for 2020 is to vote DEMOCRAT, so I’ll be doing just even if my preferred candidate doesn’t secure the nomination.
I cannot wait to start this. With this and Mexican Dynasties, I’m thrilled that Bravo is increasing Latinx centered shows.
I agree and have a colleague who had a boy, and he mentioned that his wife at first was a bit let down because she wanted a girl. But then he made a GREAT point - isn’t it better for a boy to be raised by feminist parents than not? Totally changed my attitude on it.
Ahhh, I see, I should have read more closely.
