That comment is so sexist. If it read “you should never give someone a family keepsake until you’ve known them/loved them for years” then okay, but specifically saying “no girl should ever wear your dad’s chain” is just so fucked up and sexist.

I agree. I actually feel like its really unfair how media/society treats Lena Dunham. I just don’t think she is that bad and honestly if this were ANY other celebrity posting the exact same thing, the comments would be congratulatory. I liked Bumble but I was only on it for a few weeks, and I met my boyfriend on a different dating app. I liked Bumble because I really liked being the one to reach out first (hetero women) and I actually enjoyed writing witty openers based on their profiles.
