Witchcraft!!! I missed that part. Sad. I wish that every single person could have a stable and caring group of friends or family around them.

I think they did a welfare check last year and decided that Richard was just depressed about his dead dog and was laying low at home—-TMZ was writing about this story a lot back then.

You can not speak ill about her while continuing to be accurate about her record. She had one job—-all she had to do was say something nice about Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No” campaign and move along.

That “apology” is not enough. She needs to explain exactly WHAT she got wrong. I know that I should not hate this woman—-first woman president and all, but I truly just cannot stand this woman.

That’s the kind of impulsive behavior that makes you wonder if she’s got some other issues. Getting tenure at Princeton and then turning your back on that is unusual.

One of my favorite things about living in DC was the classic movie series they had at Library of Congress every once in a while—-and the National Gallery too. Free! That and the AFI Silver Spring—if you felt like paying for your classic movies and eating popcorn :)

They probably should have left politics out of this—-it’s not her strength...at all.

“We” don’t. There are plenty of people who defend each of these men-and plenty of people who think their works should be removed from the public canon.

Am I the only one who holds onto ONE tube of lip balm for more than a year? WTF would you do with 12?

It’s the Quaker slant to their educational curriculum, I think. Everyone I’ve known who came out of friends schools has a similar ‘regular person’ quality. And Friends schools do a lot of community service type of things from the youngest grades.

In the 20s and 30s, especially during the period of Harlem Renaissance tourism to see black acts, white performers did indeed steal work from black performers knowing full well that they would be able to bring it to a national audience that was completely not available to that black artist. Your argument may work

I haven't watched a real housewives since the season Luann was with that French guy(?) but omg that looks so bad it's good this season.

Seriously, between this and the “that judge is Hispanic...” crap he’s been saying in his speeches, I just don’t have any words left—-but I do not believe what I’m seeing

She’s Aunt Flo. And this month she came a week early——which means that she won’t be coming on a trip and far away job interview with me this week when she was completely supposed to (I’m like a clock every month, so early or late is unusual!)—-so most months, I can’t stand her, but Flo’s my bestie this month.

The way the cnn anchor just kind of gave up and said “The Ku Klux Klan!?” was just so funny/awful. George Stephanopolous was the same way with Ted Cruz today, when he accused Trump of having business with the Mafia. The media is just exasperated at this point—-and we have SO much longer to go.

TV One actually is a good place for african american news programming—-BET sort of abandoned that purpose more than 10 years ago in favor of an entertainment only slate of programming—- unless you are just being snarky and racist.

I couldn’t make it through 10 minutes of the first episode. And I’m DJ’s age—-I watched the first couple of years every week back in the day.

At least one of the hands on the table next to him in that picture is an African American’s. Exactly how are citizens of Mississippi supposed to celebrate Confederate heritage month?

I was munching a bowl of sugary cereal in my pajamas with my mom and big sister, watching their wedding at like 6 AM when I was 7 years old. Good times.

Seriously. Parts of Watchman made my jaw drop. Suddenly He’s a regular man of that era, not a little kid’s superhero.
