Aren’t the Bush’s originally from Connecticut? W is the only Bush who can pull off the folksy accent.

I’d have a new sense of respect for her if she named the baby for her father or something like that. A traditional name for a celeb kid would be refreshing.
The Rickster. That’s all he needs to use.
Why didn’t they tape it off as a crime scene and have police guarding it? Makes no sense.
Yes, I’m not a mom yet either—-but I just see long sharp fingernails and such a little tiny baby and that can’t be the best combination. Although there’s probably a nanny, I guess.
I’ve just never seen a mom show of a newborn in this way, so I’m kinda confused but don’t want to judge—but aren’t your “we had a baby!!” Pics supposed to focus on the baby?
Crazy, right? And I bet all of that marble (that I either saw in the pic or am imagining that I saw) was shipped in from Italy especially for Coco.
I’m not saying that the young woman who played Dorothy is a better performer all around than Diana Ross. I’m saying that she is a better Dorothy than Diana Ross.
Yes, 33 year old Diana Ross was NOT the right pick for that part.
That could just be their living room though. I miss MTV’s Cribs.
Peter Pan was handicapped by a really old school theater production, right off the bat. Sound of music had the same problem. There are some exceptions, but early 1950s musicals do not really connect to current audiences when they are presented in their original productions. Maybe nbc learned this finally because the…
Are there any rules about how a person gets ungray? I just take it as normal that my comments are gray even though in the days before kinja I had a star here, gizmodo and gawker. I use a burner account though, because I was too lazy to figure out the othe commenter sign in option at some point early into the kinja…
I like that they toned down the city grit from the original—-that scared me when I was a kid!
No, this is actually a whole lot better than the 70s movie. And this is the production that will be on broadway—with the same costumes (taking the famous folks out of the cast—-I hope the Dorothy actress stays though, she’s great.)
That was The Wiz’s original problem. I was teeny tiny when I watched it on tv, maybe in 1979(?) and I just remembered bleak, boring long stretches of songs that went on way too long. This production is MUCH more entertaining than the movie. And so much better than the other live nbc productions—-and the costumes are…
This actually makes a lot of sense. I was a Colleg Program Intern at Epcot for 5 months and when you work in the parks with the visitors you see a whole layer of Disney fan crazy that you didn’t even knew existed-”Disneyana folks” as we called them because that’s was what their annual convention was named are extreme…
I exited the mass pike once during an ice storm way too quickly once and lost control of my car for a moment—-in my head I thought the car spun around completely one time, long enough for me to not steer and to try to remember if you pump the brakes or steer into the skid or what the heck you are supposed to do —but…
Exactly! Seeing their faces is just heartbreaking.
Right!?? The BLM kids even got shot—-5 of them! and that story didn’t get the level of press coverage that it should have.
It’s sort of like assuming that your black friends at elementary school are all getting free lunch. Kool aid is associated with poverty and housing projects and the 70s show Good Times. Not all black people are low income—not all black people make drinks that are associated with having a low income.
